Big BANG!,
Starting the New Year off with my Solo Exhibition at THE Ballyroan Library.
Im so excited to start the year off with a bang my solo show at the Ballyroan Library. This place is special to me, I spent part of my childhood playing in this very field where the library now stands, so being here today feels like a full-circle moment.
This exhibition brings together a selection of work, and I hope it gives you a sense of where I’ve come from and where I’m heading next.
I hope you get a chance to drop by the library and enjoy the exhibition.
About the Artist
I am an Irish artist based in Dublin. Growing up with dyslexia, art became my source of confidence and joy, my superpower. Throughout school I always had it there with me like a good friend to make me feel good and still does!
I went on to study art and received my degree in Textile Design and Embroidery from NCAD.
My work focuses on Irelands landscapes inspired by nature’s changing light and mood. I am currently working on bringing my love for Irish native animals into the these landscapes.
Through my art, I aim to create a sense of calm and mindfulness. I just want to enjoy the process of creating and in doing so I hope that the viewer connects with that childlike sense of wonder that I am am so happy I still have when I paint.
I also take commissions, creating meaningful paintings that capture personal memories or special places.
You’re welcome to explore my work online or visit my studio in Ballyroan,Rathfarnham.
